General Practice is a culturally and racially diverse speciality which can present certain challenges. In this series of 3 episodes we share patient, staff and organisational experiences of racism, bias and inter-cultural problems as well as some introductory practical tips for overcoming these issues.

Dr Carla Figueiredo is a Consultant Psychiatrist working with the Dorset Healthcare Eating Disorder Service since 2010. She qualified in medicine in South Africa and undertook her specialist training in General Adult Psychiatry in Wessex. December 2019 - Childhood Allergies
Dr Mich Lajeunesse is a Consultant in Paediatric Allergy & Immunology at Southampton Children’s Hospital, and an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Southampton. He is an accredited specialist in Paediatric Immunology, Infectious Diseases and Allergy, a member of the British Society for Allergy and Clinical Immunology, and a Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health.
